Our Services
Inpatient Care
Culpeper Regional Hospital is a 70-bed acute care facility with Medical/Surgical, Stepdown and Intensive Care units. In addition to the care provided by physicians, patients are cared for by hospital staff, including registered and licensed practical nurses, monitor technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and others.
The entire inpatient wing was recently renovated with all new patient rooms, nursing stations, inpatient rehabilitation, dialysis and respiratory therapy. All of our patients are being cared for in new beds that include such features as a scale to monitor patient weight, easy-reach buttons for bed adjustment, lighting, nurse call, television remote control and more.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) features six patient rooms with two specially fitted as isolation rooms, including full bathrooms. All new equipment provides the most up-to-date information, which may include trending data for each patient.
The Stepdown Unit offers caregivers an in-between stage to serve patients who do not require constant ICU care, but more care and monitoring than is typical of patients in a Medical/Surgical room.
The Medical/Surgical Unit is used for those patients who need general hospital care for illness or post-operative care.
