Medical Oncology
Before the opening of H.O.P.E. (Hematology Oncology Patient Enterprises) services at CRH, every cancer patient who needed chemotherapy and related treatment and support, had to travel long distances to receive care. Such travel was costly in time, money and stress. The provision of the Oncology services at Culpeper Regional Hospital meant an end to those trials for many patients and their families.
Known for its caring and compassionate treatment of those with cancer, the professional H.O.P.E. staff is dedicated to providing the most technologically advanced treatment, in combination with the most nurturing environment possible, to each of its patients. The team includes physicians accredited in hematology and oncology along with nurse practitioners, nurses and other professional staff.
Continuing growth has meant the expansion of services to include hematologists and oncologists on-site four days a week. This medical oncology practice compliments the new radiation oncology service now available at Culpeper Regional Hospital. Advanced cancer care in Culpeper is a reality because of support from the communities we serve.
We are pleased to be able to offer these services and fill a void for these patients so they do not have to leave their community. We work closely with the physicians and staff of H.O.P.E. to ensure that our cancer services continue to meet the needs of our patients.
